Revenue stamps as a means of payment expire 31.12.2024

Do you have revenue stamps in stock? Beware, you can only use them to pay court or administrative fees (e.g. at the cadastre or tax office) until the end of the year.

You can also buy and exchange damaged, unused revenue stamps for new ones or buy back undamaged revenue stamps only until 31 December 2024. For redemption and exchange, a written request must be submitted, proof of identity must be provided and a fee based on the face value of the revenue stamp must be paid (10 % in the case of exchange, 5 % in the case of redemption).

From January 2025, court and administrative fees can only be paid in cash or by bank transfer.
