Austrian – Czech Business Forum

The Federal President of Austria, Dr. Alexander Van der Bellen, visited the Czech Republic between 26 and 27 June 2017. On the occasion, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA hosted an Austrian – Czech Business Forum, attended on behalf of LTA by Ms. Hana Daenhardtová, tax advisor, and Mr. Jan Najman, attorney-at-law.

The forum took place on 27 June 2017 in the Congress Centre of the Czech National Bank.

The aim of the forum was to provide both Austrian and Czech participants with first-hand information on the development of both markets, including, among other things, the end of currency interventions in the Czech Republic and its impact on the bilateral trade.

A panel discussion concerning investment experience in the both countries was attended by selected Czech and Austrian firms. The forum was concluded by speeches made by the leading members of the Austrian and Czech Chambers of Commerce and by the Austrian president. The official programme was followed by networking and informal discussions.
