The VAT rate on newspapers and magazines reduced from 15% to 10%

The Chamber of Deputies outvoted the veto of President Milos Zeman and pushed through an amendment to the Act on Value Added Tax that decreases the VAT rate on newspapers and magazines from the 15% VAT rate to 10%. The change will be effective as of the 15th day following its publication in the Collection of Laws.
